Our travels haven’t taken us all over the world but, thankfully, to many parts. We’ve marveled at rock formations in the U. S. National Parks, roamed through old cathedrals in Europe, and tasted food we couldn’t even pronounce in Asian markets. But throughout all our travels, we’ve paused to look at rivers or oceans or waterfalls or streams. There’s just something about the flow, the ripples, the cascading that catches our attention and makes us stop on bridges or beside still waters to take a moment to appreciate the view. Here are a few of our favorite water features.
A glorious view of the Kafka Museum, Prague Castle, and red-roofed buildings from the Charles Bridge.
One of Knoxville’s newest refurbished parks is Ft. Dickerson where you can lean on a rock wall and catch a glimpse of this pretty site.
A fisherman readies his net and casts for fish on the Mekong River, Cambodia
A tradition in Knoxville: boats arrive early, tie up near Neyland Stadium on the Tennessee River, and wait for the Vols to play ball!

Thanks! I loved watching that fisherman from a hillside where we had lunch. My stomach was queasy at that point in the trip, so I was glad to be able to look away from the table at this hard-working man.
