The beauty of East Tennessee from Duncan’s Boat Dock, Knoxville

We came Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1963 as wide-eyed college freshmen at the home of the Vols: the University of Tennessee. Since then, we’ve finished several degrees at U.T., married, found vocations (Rusha taught in Knox County Schools; Bert worked in administration at U.T.), raised our family of two sons, and retired only to re-discover what we still love best — sports, restaurants, events, libraries, anything Big Orange, and the nearby Great Smoky Mountains. It’s a lot to be proud of, and we hope we’re doing our part to serve our community. Welcome to Rocky Top where life is tinged with orange, and the beauty of East Tennessee is everywhere.
