You can look at it straight-on from the second floor and marvel at the symmetry of marble columns.
Or you can look up at circles, windows, and light in the signature dome.
Or you can peer downward and watch as people take center stage under and on carefully laid geometrics in the otherwise all-white interior.
But no matter your perspective, you’ll probably be in awe of the beautiful Idaho Capitol Building, the Capitol of Light.

What a lovely place!
It really is. I know the people of Idaho must be very proud of this building.
We truly are! I love how you honor it! I can’t wait to return the favour for Tennessee!
Come on down. The Tennessee capitol is lovely, too. We loved the white marble in the Idaho capitol as well as the architecture. Travel is sooo good!
Beautifully done – excellent illustration of the concept.
Thanks! You probably would have some great quotes to go along with these. See? I’m learning from you!

What a beautiful building! I love your perspective, looking up into the dome and then down to the lower level. Nice work!
It’s a really neat capitol!!! We were lucky it was open on our snowy day visit.

You’re right. We loved the interior — so light and white! Residents of Idaho should be very proud!
