It’s been a year since we’ve written posts for Oh, the Places We See. But with another year of travel behind us, it’s time to share with you, our readers, what we’ve been up to.

Traveling to South Dakota, Vietnam, Cambodia, Greece, Israel, and Italy means that we have pictures to share and ideas for your next trip.
We’ve also revamped our site, thanks to the support and suggestions from Michael Wender, a Knoxville-based graphic designer who helped us select Christopher as our new WordPress theme and fill it with easier-to-read fonts and better quality pictures.
Please click on the menu bars at the top of the main page so you can navigate through our new categories: About, Destinations, Hometown Pride, Photo Challenges, and Travel Savvy. Hopefully, you’ll find something that strikes your fancy and keeps you coming back.

Thanks to all of you — our loyal followers AND new readers — for taking the time to dive in to Oh, the Places We See. We love it when you share your thoughts and experiences with us.

We would be remiss if we didn’t mention the current threat to all travel, the widespread coronavirus. Please check with travel.state.gov for updates and travel advisories. And consult your travel agent or cruise line for current conditions.
Best wishes to each and every one of you for safe travels and wide-eyed wonder — always.

Oh, the Places We See
Thanks so much for letting me know I’ve been missed. I’m not sure how long I’ll keep blogging, but each day/week is fun to see what there is to write about. You two are an inspiration to me — always superb writing and publishing. I look forward to your posts always.

Welcome back! I’ve been on a similar break, and it’s so nice to reconnect and read about what everyone has been up to. Looking forward to your upcoming posts! Love your new design, too!
Oh, the Places We See
Thanks for the compliment. The design is open and clean, so it’s different for me, but I think I’m going to like it. You’re right — it was great to take a break, but it’s also great to get back into it. Looking forward to your upcoming posts as well.

Hi guys. I HAVE missed you and look forward to reading your posts about where you have been. I was a bit surprised when, after the first post, I could not ‘like’ it. I can only comment or remain silently pleased by your information and efforts. Was that intentional?
Oh, the Places We See
So glad you called this to my attention. I’m going to look into it. Thanks!

Welcome back. Looks great!
Oh, the Places We See
Thanks so much. That means a lot. I had no idea how long it would take to “freshen up a bit,” but I feel as if it’s spring in my life and in blogging, too!

Nice to see you again! I’ve never changed my theme on my WordPress blog, though I’ve thought about it. Not being technically advanced, I’m sort of scared to change much of anything…sort of a ‘not broken, don’t mess with it’ mentality, but I should try to be brave.
Oh, the Places We See
It has breathed a new joy in me to have a fresh look. I had to hire someone, though. I’m still tech challenged, and it was easier to let someone else do it. I did, however, have to learn what he did so that I could continue to post using the new theme. I’m sure you could handle it if you think it’s worth it. Thanks for taking a look.
Oh, the Places We See
It’s fun to try new things, but I will admit I still don’t know how to do some things with this new theme. Maybe in time . . .
