Weekly Photo Challenge: Rule of Thirds

Calibogue Sound, Hilton Head Island

Gray day at Calibogue Sound, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Brings to mind an old saying that seems appropriate on this no-sun day at Hilton Head:

A bad day at the beach is still better than a good day at work!

Lovely photos and the quote is spot on. For me, who moved to the coast quite recently, every day at the beach is still a wonderful experience.

Thanks for your comment. I think often of how I wish I lived at the beach all the time; however, I really do like having four seasons even though right now I would gladly give away winter!!!

Thanks, Linda. The weather never got better, but it was still so much better than being at work. Would love to return regardless of weather!

Thanks so much for taking a look and commenting. We had cold rainy weather all week, but still found lots to do and lots to see even in the bad weather!

Thanks, Amy. The week never got better in terms of weather. But the time with girlfriends was exciting and energizing. Would do it again even without good weather!!

Were excited to be here at the beach, Judy, even though it’s overcast and blustery. But it’s still better than being at work!

Hope you have a chance to go to Honey Horn Plantation and the Coastal Discovery Museum. The exhibits are great and the grounds are very interesting.

Ellen, I’m with a group of women, so I’ll see if we can stop shopping enough to see some of the sights! Great suggestions!
