A Day to be Grateful

Gate to Maple Grove Inn Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”  Melody Beattie

For all that we have here at home in Knoxville, Tennessee — family, friends, and the comfort of familiar places — and for all the sights we’ve seen in the U. S. and abroad this year, we are truly grateful.

May the blessings of this Thanksgiving be yours today and always.

Thanks so much! So glad you’ve found my blog. Will take a look at yours. We do indeed have so much to be thankful for — and travel to various parts of the world have shown us that we have a good house, loving kids, and plenty. Thanks for following!

Oh I feel much warmer for having seen this pretty photo. I hope you had a marvelous Thanksgiving. We are in the midst of a snowstorm and I am very thankful for a well insulated house and central heating. 🙂

So sorry about the snowstorm, Sue. We haven’t reached that part of winter here yet. Still fallish, but cold. Tonight is the Christmas tree lighting in downtown Knoxville — should be in the 20s. So, if we go, we’ll be bundled up just as you are! Happy Thanksgiving week!
