Brown generally was the theme of our recent trip across Idaho. After all, what else could we expect? It’s October, and the brown stubble of wheat fields, rich browns of freshly tilled soil, and leaves turning from golden yellows to harvest browns greeted us at every turn. Here are a few pictures that fit Ailsa’s travel theme this week: brown.

Love the barn!

Me, too. After at least four pass-by attempts to capture it, I got about as close as an impatient husband would allow!!!

The whole state was sorta brown with the harvest over and the stubble of wheat left in the fields — a glorious sight with or without the cows! Thanks for visiting.

Thanks so much. My husband drove me back and forth along the street several times so I could get a shot of that. I didn’t want to go to the farmhouse and ask permission! So, I’m lucky to have what I have!
