Weekly Photo Challenge: Fun

Imagine this.  It’s your first afternoon after a long flight from Knoxville, Tennessee, to Prague, and you just want to leave the hotel for a few minutes to explore the square downtown.  And what’s one of the first things you see?  Bubble man and his sidekick.  Going to it.  Blowing the biggest, happiest bubbles you can imagine for the sheer fun of it.

Biggest, baddest bubbles in Prague!

And whether you’re a kid in the USA or the Czech Republic, it doesn’t matter when it comes to bubbles.  You just go for it.  Just for fun!

Those bubbles can bring sunlight on the darkest day! They would make me feel as young as those kids running around. Enjoy Prague – I was there last year and really enjoyed it.

Thanks for commenting. Wasn’t Prague a great city? We knew there would be old buildings and sites to see, but we didn’t anticipate so much fun! Would go back in a minute.

Thanks so much! We just happened to turn the corner at this big plaza in Prague, and there they were. We knew then that this was a fun place for crowds to hang out. I love finding things that aren’t even in the tour books!

…and who doesn’t love to blow a beautiful multicolored iridescent bubble watching it rise to the sun? Beautiful emotions Rusha!

Thanks, Jeanne. I could just see our granddaughters playing with those bubbles and having no interest in all the art, history, etc. Isn’t that the joy of childhood!

Thanks, Dawn. We got so excited when we saw bubbles flying up and around these fabulously old, historic buildings. An element of fun among history!

We’ve definitely noticed that anywhere — here, there, or anywhere — people stop and stare at bubble blowing or people having fun popping them!

We take bottles of bubble stuff to the beach each year, and kids flock to our tent. Any time the breeze picks up, they want to blow bubbles! Thanks for commenting.

Thanks, Hester. We did too! For some reason, we thought Prague would be formal, and architecturally it may be. But there’s so much fun especially where tourists hang out. We were fascinated the whole time! Appreciate the comment.

It makes our day to hear from you.
