Southern biscuit drizzled with honey

Travel golden and try a Southern biscuit drizzled with honey.

As simple as it is, there’s nothing more golden to the taste or to the eye than a fluffy, moist Southern biscuit drizzled with honey — maybe even sitting on a yellow plate!  Mmmmm.

As seen and eaten at:

Tupelo Honey Cafe, 1 Market Square, Knoxville, TN 37902 (865.522.0004)

Thanks so much. I could eat honey right out of the jar . . . but it’s pretty good on biscuits, too!

ha! yeah it is so amazing. well hope you have a nice holiday and glad to have crossed blog paths – and I like the gravatar image – are you guys in a helicopter?

Thanks for asking about our Gravatar. We are indeed in a helicopter — over the beautiful Coeur d’Alene lake. Just one of those touristy things that turned out to be a great trip and memory. You can read about it here: http://wp.me/p2l4j8-Rm Best wishes for happy holidays!

Well, I went in knowing that they bring these biscuits right after you order but before you get your food. I have the determination NOT to eat that yummy biscuit. And that determination lasted about a minute. I dug in, polishing it off with a big lick of honey! Oh, well. It’s the holidays, right?

“Oh, well. It’s the holidays, right?” I’ve been telling myself that a lot lately. 🙂

That looks simply delicious. I’ve never experienced Southern biscuits… but I’d like to try… although I think I’d have a fight on my hands with my son!

Great to hear from you. Just come on down and we’ll sit a spell and dine on biscuits together. Tennessee is by no means the only place to buy great biscuits. But it’s not a bad place to start! Best wishes for a great holiday!

Amy, if you loved this capture, you would have loved this biscuit. Wish I could have shared it with you. Come to Tennessee, and we’ll show you where to eat Southern!!! Merry Christmas!

It was yummy, but I’ve eaten biscuits with nothing but a little butter just so I can taste the dough! Funny what we favor, isn’t it?

It makes our day to hear from you.
