Travel Theme: Sky

Ailsa at Where’s My Backpack posted Travel Theme:Sky this week which reminded me of an autumn walk on The Boulevard in the Sequoyah Hills section of Knoxville. Sometimes I walk the designated jogging path, but occasionally I go behind the houses that back onto Lake Loudon — also public property — for a quiet stroll in one of our city’s most beautiful areas.

One late evening in October, I say a “cottage cheese” sky — small snugged-together puffs of clouds —  hovering over the lake.

But when I looked back at where I’d been, I saw the reflection of that same sky in the water, giving me another view of the evening sky closing in on the coming night.

As I turned to head toward the parking lot, I was rewarded with a view of the sky mirrored in the water, a lovely sight as you can see.  Lucky for me, I walk with my iPhone!
