A Word a Week Challenge: Vibrant

The Word a Week Challenge: Vibrant comes at a good time:  I just got a new camera (still getting used to it!) and the flowers outside my back door are in full vibrant bloom!  Hope you enjoy my first attempts at capturing nature’s beauty.

  1. If these photos are an indicator Rusha, the new camera works great. I bought a new camera recently, and after a couple months of use, it appears the 80/20 rule applies. 80% of the time I use 20% of the features. And when I want to use some of the infrequently used features, I have forgotten how, and I have to go back to the manual. I love all the whizzy capabilities, but wish I could remember how to use them. ~James

I’m having fun trying the different settings, but my favorite one is the green Automatic setting!!! You’re right — it’s 20% of the features, for sure! Off to China tomorrow. May try a few spins of the lens wheel, but most likely in trying to capture shots quickly, it’ll just be the green A!!!

      • You’ll have a great time in China Rusha. While China is open to the world now, for much of their history they were a country unto themselves. And because China has been a country for 2000 years, they have a historical perspective unlike anywhere else in the world. I look forward to your posts and pics. Bon Voyage! ~James
