Walking the long path to the beach at Gearhart, Oregon
Gearhart, Oregon, is one of those sweet little seaside towns you can’t get enough of: gray shingled houses, climbing roses over picket fences, small cafe filled with the smells of homemade bread, and a long walk through tall grasses that leads you to a pristine beach.
But for the full Gearhart effect, sit on a bench nestled in the grasses and let the wind carry you away.

Looks si relaxing. I love the Oregon Coast and take any chance to go back.
I know what you mean — we would love to have the chance to return!!! Absolutely beautiful state.
I’d love to sit there, feeling the wind and letting it blow away my stresses.
And that’s exactly what I did. Someone quite thoughtful (city planners, I guess) set up nice benches right in the middle of all that grass. I just sat there, stared at the sky, and wished we were spending more time there.
