Spending a Week in Orlando: What Our Family Loved Most

Whenever a family plans to go on vacation, it may be difficult to find the right place where all members can enjoy. It is precisely because of this that Orlando was the best place to visit. The theme park capital of the world, Orlando, has a diversity of attractions, entertainment, and family-friendly activities unmatched anywhere outside this city.

The balance is what ensured that this trip was particularly memorable among our family members, as it was not all about the high-energy days at the theme parks, but also about having a good time together, unwinding, and engaging in something different from the typical tourist destinations.

Where We Stayed: Comfort, Space, and Family-Friendly Amenities

One of the main things that made our trip enjoyable was our place of stay. We have booked a place with the official hotel site of Westgate Town Center Resort, and this indeed added value to our experience.

Our family was well-suited to the villa-type arrangement. We did not have to share the same hotel room but rather had our own living rooms, a kitchen, and ample space to relax after a hardworking day. This added space was particularly felt when one was on a trip with children. The property was family-friendly, and we immediately felt at home as soon as we got there.

Our Favorite Theme Park Moments

A visit to Orlando would not be complete without the theme parks that make it an icon of the city, and ours was no exception. The magic at Walt Disney World was a real one, like encountering favorite characters and taking old-fashioned rides. One of the highlights was watching the fireworks at night, which was a uniting event for the entire family.

The theme at Universal Orlando Resort was totally different but very thrilling. The adrenaline rides and the in-worlds, as well as live performances, entertained the audience. Every member of the family had his or her favorite attraction, and that is why the experience became even more personal and entertaining.

Why Taking a Resort Day Was the Best Decision

Amidst the commotion, one of the most prudent moves we made was to have a full resort day. The day was spent in the pools, where we were able to relax by the water and leisurely explore the facilities of the resort.

The children enjoyed themselves as much, or more than they did in the parks, and the grown people were at last able to rest. This led us to escape burnout and made the rest of the trip even more pleasurable.

Exploring Beyond the Theme Parks

Although theme parks had a significant portion of our schedule, we found time to see other aspects of Orlando. Disney Springs was a fantastic experience in terms of shopping, eating, and live performances.

We also worked in local stores and restaurants and found a more natural and casual side of the city. These were the occasions when we got to take our time and see Orlando other than the headline attractions; it gave our trip a diverse touch.

What Our Family Loved Most

In retrospect, it is hard to pick only one of the highlights. In the case of the kids, it was the thrill of the rides and the character experiences. In the case of the adults, it was the comfort of the resort and the possibility to relax. The balance: exhilarating days, restful moments, and common experiences was what made the trip truly memorable.

Tips for Planning Your Own Orlando Family Trip

In case you are going on a similar trip, it can be a big difference when you book your accommodation early, particularly in peak seasons. When selecting a resort with comfort and amenities, this will improve your experience.

You should plan your visits to theme parks, but not to forget that you need to have rest days to relax. This would make sure that everybody has a good time on the trip without getting overwhelmed.

Conclusion

Our Orlando week was more than we had expected. The city is home to all ages with world-renowned parks, shopping, dining, and outdoor activities. The experience of staying in Westgate Town Center Resort via the official hotel site was instrumental in the vacation planning process.
