So, with that in mind, we’re showing you a bunch — or several, as it may be — of one favorite creekside dock located near the house we rent.  We love it.  Not because we get to use it — we don’t.  But because we can stand in the street, gaze at it longingly, and admire its one distinguishing asset:  a South Carolina logo weathervane.  Here it is: three stages of sundown pastel glory. Beautiful South African sunset – ah, the great outdoors!

One of the prettiest places to be in the great outdoors is Thornybush Game Preserve, South Africa.  Our jeep pulled into an open spot on the plain so we could toast sundown with friends and revel in the fact that we were alive and traveling in beautiful South Africa near Kruger National Park. Such memories!
