It’s been a yellow-turning-red kinda autumn near our home in Knoxville, Tennessee. And just a short afternoon walk unfolds brilliant colors of the season around every corner. Ah, autumn. Could you stick around a bit longer?

Lovely images of your stroll through autumn’s colors.
Oh, the Places We See
Thanks so much. You’ll be happy to know that I grabbed my iPhone after posting these pictures and took what I think was an even better picture of leaves with water dripping from them. You’ve inspired me to look for other ways to capture great images!

Lovely. Fall colors are natures way of saying goodbye to summer and hello to winter. I, too, wish they would hang around longer, sigh. –Curt
Oh, the Places We See
We’ve been trying to make the most of the season with drives around town to places we haven’t been in a long time. But, alas, the cold snap this weekend and the return to standard time reminds me that winter is on its way.

Breathing its cold breath… 🙂

Rich ruby reds – beautiful!
Oh, the Places We See
Thanks for taking a look. I can’t remember the color being any more vivid than it is this year. Love fall!

Love these beautiful rich fall colors, so very beautiful!
Oh, the Places We See
Thanks, Amy. I can’t remember a fall when the reds were so very, very red. Trees are gorgeous right now even though a storm blew away many of the leaves at the tops of the trees. Happy fall to you!
