I’m impressed that you take a French Press with you! You may be more hooked than I am! Have also resorted to Nescafe, but not often! I’ve also found that the definition of a “cup of coffee” varies with the country we’re visiting. One time in Paris, I got about an inch of coffee. Certainly not comparable to the big cups of java we get in the states, but still welcome!

What a fun thing to buy! We used to have a booth in an antiques mall, and I bought white ironstone . . . a lot. Still have some pieces. The Russia mug is a fave — memory from great trip!

Very nice collection Rusha. We have the coffee tradition as well. The newspaper, not so much, but caffeine for sure. We have a backpacking French Press we take with us on the road (while in the US and camping), and in our overseas travel we hope for a drip or moka pot in our apartment. If this doesn’t work, we resort to Nescafe, and hopefully we can find some milk product that approaches half n’ half. Any port in a storm. ~James
