Didn’t know that. We have an abundance of peaches in the summer, and we make preserves, cobblers, pies, etc. It’s lovely!

Thanks, Sharon! What I didn’t say but I meant to was that the gentleman in the picture told me he was from “up around Campbello.” And that’s how he pronounced it! guess that’s localese for Campobello. I love travel!!!

I had the opportunity to met Dorothea Benton Frank at a writer’s luncheon in 2007 and got an autographed copy of her book, “Sullivans Island”, (where she was born and raised). She’s an interesting writer.
