It’s been two weeks since we checked into an apartment downtown, and the finale has arrived: Dogwood Arts Festival 2012 — art, music, people — Market Square!
This year’s event did not disappoint. Artists, local and faraway, (Texas, North Carolina, Kentucky, etc.) brought their best in pottery, jewelry, photography, and doo-dads no one really needs but we want ’em because they make life enjoyable! Weather cooperated: cool mornings, warm days, and breezy nights — perfect for outdoor dining and strolling with children in tow.
